I set up B’Ridge Sharpening Services following 17 years as a Barber and a Barber shop owner. After finding it difficult to find a skilled and reliable blade sharpener to keep my scissors sharp, I decided to change my career and offer a professional and reliable sharpening service.
I am trained and experienced in a wide range of sharpening techniques and have invested in the latest professional sharpening equipment to get the best results. I own my business as a sole trading company that can work to your deadlines.
B’Ridge Sharpening Services is located in Blackridge, West Lothian. I provide sharpening services throughout the UK to both commercial and domestic.
My workshop is fully equipped with all the tools necessary to sharpen tools used by Barbers & Hairdressers, Pet Groomers, Carpenters, Chefs, Decorators, Equestrians, Farmers, Gardeners, Seamstresses, Tailors.
My clientele has a requirement for a fast and speedy service due to the nature of their business which are often high pace and high turnover industries that they work in. A speedy Order & Returns service is offered.
For local clients I offer a drop off service at my workshop.
I also service clippers.

Carriage will be charged dependent on quantity of items.
We will inform you as soon as your parcel has arrived at B’ridge Sharpening Services. We aim to have your professionally sharpened items returned securely wrapped and boxed within 3 days on a tracked serviced unless another service has been advised.
We accept payment via PayPal or Internet Banking.

Always include a return address marked clearly on the back.
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage of your items while under the care of the postal service. For this reason, we advise making sure you choose an appropriate level of insurance for your parcel.
Always ask your Post Master for a ‘Proof of Postage’ slip when sending your parcel. You may need to show your Proof of Postage to the Post Office should your parcel go missing.
Posting sharp objects is acceptable when they are packaged correctly. Below are packaging guidelines direct from Royal Mail website under the section titled ‘sharp goods’.
Package appropriately so items present no risk to employees, other postal items or recipients.
Wrap heavy cardboard around sharp edges and points, strong enough to ensure that the contents do not pierce the outer packaging.
Wrap each item with cushioning material and place in a suitable outer container such as a padded envelope.
The sender's name and return address must be clearly visible on the outer packaging.
